Laboratory

ECONATUR LABORATORIES counts on specialised technicians, whose experience guarantees the reliability of the obtained results.

Our laboratory offers a wide range of services adapted to the client's needs, such as analytical determinations of water, soil, feed, plants, fertilizers...

ECONATUR LABORATORIES  is  authorized  by  both  the  Andalusian  Ministry of Health  and  Agriculture and Fisheries  to  carry out analyses.

In addition, we have been designated by the Andalusian authorities for the training of food handlers.

According to the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 regulation we are certified for carrying out water analysis.

  • AUTHORIZED LABORATORY BY THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF ANDALUSIA A.267/I
  • AUTHORIZED LABORATORY FOR FEED HANDLERS' TRAINING A-422/AND-I
  • COMPANY CERTIFIED BY AENOR ACCORDING TO REGULATION UNE-EN ISO 9001:2000 NORM.
  •

There are two different sectors that demand analyses:

  • Agrarian: Knowing the plant nutritional needs and the soil characteristics is of utmost importance to create the correct fertilization plan. In addition, it is necessary to know the irrigation water quality as well as the plants' nutrient content by foliar analyses.
  • Alimentary: According to the legal requirements, companies should carry out the control of foods that they elaborate. The parameters are specified in the sector’s vertical regulations, such as analyses that guarantee the suitable cleanliness, disinfection and water control according to the R.D. 140/2003.
  • Other analyses: the nutritional composition of food; fertilizers; swimming pool water (according to the current legislation norms)....etc

WATER ANALYSES

  • Physical-chemical determinations: Oils and fats, ammonium, calcium, carbonates, total organic carbon, free and combined chlorine, chlorides, colour, conductivity, C.O.D., hardness, lathers and oils, magnesium, nitrates, nitrites, smells, oxidability, pH, potassium, taste, solids in suspension, sulphates, turbidity, Kjeldhl nitrogen, dry residue.
  • Microbiological determinations: total and fecal coliform assays, fecal streptococcus, aerobic bacterium at 37ºC, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, algae, clostridium sulphite reductors, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Legionella pneumophila.

FOOD ANALYSES

  • Physical-chemical determinations: fatty performance, humidity, acidity rate, impurities, esterification rate, peroxides rate, iodine rate, chlorides, ash, fats, proteins, dry extract, K270,k232, k225, k470, phosphorus, insoluble solids, nitrates, nitrites, total nitrogen, total and reductor sugars.
  • Microbiological determinations: aerobic mesophil bacteria, sulphite reductor clostridia, total and fecal coliforms, total enterobacter, Escherichia coli, Staphilococcus aureus, Enterococcus, moulds and yeasts, Salmonella, Lactobacillus.

FERTILIZER ANALYSES

AGRONOMIC ANALYSES

The agronomic analyses are divided into the following three branches: irrigation water analyses, soil analyses and foliar analyses.

Soil analyses

  • Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, bicarbonates, carbonates, oxidizeable organic carbon, organic matter, chlorides, electrical conductivity, humidity, magnesium, nitrites, sodium, sulphates, pH, texture.

Foliar analyses

  • Main Elements: Nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
  • Macroelements: Calcium and Magnesium
  • Microelements: Boron, Cupper, Iron, Manganese, and Zinc
